JEE Roadmap: What to Study, Month by Month

Pick the column that matches you. Follow the chapter order, the weekly routine and the mock schedule, and you will not need another plan.

Direct answer

Every good JEE plan has the same loop: learn a topic, solve its PYQs the same week, test yourself weekly, and revise in cycles.

Class 11 starters have about two years, Class 12 starters about one year, and droppers about ten months. The difference is how much you can afford to go deep before the mock phase starts.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions

What is the best roadmap for JEE?

Learn a topic, solve its past JEE questions the same week, take a mock every week, and revise in cycles. Start with high-frequency chapters if time is short.

Which chapters should I study first for JEE?

In Class 11: Kinematics, Laws of Motion, Mole concept, Atomic structure, Bonding, Sets and Functions, Trigonometry. Then the rest in syllabus order.

When should I start mock tests for JEE?

Once about 60% of the syllabus is done, usually 4–6 months before the exam. Start with one a week.

Can I follow this roadmap without coaching?

Yes. Use NCERT, one free lecture per topic, PYQs and weekly mocks, all linked on this page.
